edwin's fracture

my brother open fractured his left forearm while we were playing soccer yesterday when he failed to keep his balance after tripping on the ball.
he broke both bones of his left forearm and underwent surgery to insert metal fixtures yesterday afternoon, coming out at 8.45pm.
had fever last night but subsided this morning. he was told he can be discharged coming tuesday. his warded at CGH ward 37 bed 38 for now.
need to thank tay, mak, yip, jiunbin, andrew, weijie etc for you guys' help and concern.
pray for a speedy recovery.

*update*
he his now at ward 37 bed 16.
told by the doctor he needs 1 more day of antibiotics so he'll probably need to wait till tomorrow to be discharged.

semester of assignments

this semeseter is crazy. ive got 3 papers (total of 66 pages) + 2 assignments (programming)+ 2 tests in total.

i finished 2 tests, 1 assignment and have just completed my final paper, special thanks to angel who helped me do some literature sourcing in her free time.

Now i am left with 1 programming assignment for the computation fluids dynamics module which i reckon will take up 1 week of my time. i hope this is an overestimation of course if not i wouldnt have time for revision.

update 061109

haven updated in a bit cause i have been so so so so busy.
busy with assignments, schoolwork mainly.

today is a good day for an update cause:
1. my fyp fabrication sourcing and quotation is finally settled (more or less). lucky theres this helpful uncle to solve my concerns and problem.
2. my previous episode of SOB is confirmed to have nothing to do with my heart, and most likely asthma? but then all the funny tests that ive done, treadmill etc revealed a potential problem with my heart. the cardiologist said that i might have a small hole in my heart and in his note i read ASD (Atrial septal defect). Will need to do this test to plant a camera down my throat and take pictures of it to confirm. He said i need not be too concerned about it, if its really tiny, i can lead my life as per normal.

so erm update ... lifes good.
